Tilleke & Gibbins Seminar on May 27: Class Action Legal Proceedings in Thailand

Tilleke & Gibbins

In December 2015, class action lawsuits will become available in Thailand, following a recent amendment of the Civil Procedure Code. If the experiences of other jurisdictions serve as a good indicator, the availability of class actions could represent a fundamental shift in the Thai legal landscape.

To update our clients on this important development, Tilleke & Gibbins will organize an English-language seminar on May 27. With content aimed at local and regional corporate counsel and business executives with responsibility for Thailand operations, the program will cover the following topics:

  • An overview of the legal framework
  • The expected impact of this legislative change
  • International comparative perspective on class action
