International Employment Lawyer (IEL) recently held the IEL Awards 2023 ceremony celebrating the world’s leading labor and employment law practices, and Tilleke & Gibbins received the “Highly Commended” award in the Asia-Pacific Law Firm of the Year category.

The awards ceremony, which was held at Plaisterers Hall in London, brought together more than 200 representatives from law firms and in-house lawyers from around the world. The finalists for the IEL Awards 2023 included a range of leading global, regional, national, and boutique law firms recognized as top specialists in employment law. To determine both the shortlist of finalists and the winners, IEL’s editorial team researched the firms’ achievements over the last year and considered client testimonials and feedback from other sources in the market.

Of the eight firms in the shortlist for the Asia-Pacific Law Firm of the Year category, Tilleke & Gibbins’ regional Employment practice received the Highly Commended recognition for its strength in strategic employment advice, ability to implement employment restructuring plans, and expertise in employment and labor litigation, including in cases connected to labor-management relations.

The firm received nominations for both Thailand Firm of the Year and Vietnam Firm of the Year. The Chambers Asia-Pacific and Greater China Region Honours recognize preeminent law firms demonstrating outstanding work, impressive strategic growth, and excellence in client service across the region.
