Tilleke & Gibbins Recognized at 2025 Managing IP and Asialaw Awards

Tilleke & Gibbins received multiple honors at the joint 2025 Managing IP and Asialaw Awards ceremony, held on October 31, 2025, in Singapore.

In the Managing IP Asia-Pacific Awards 2025, the firm was recognized for its intellectual property (IP) excellence across the Asia-Pacific region:

  • Asia-Pacific Law Firm of the Year – Domestic Firms

  • Cambodia Firm of the Year

  • Thailand Patent Firm of the Year

  • Vietnam Patent Firm of the Year

The Managing IP Awards program is widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive recognitions in the global IP industry. Winners are selected through extensive research and client interviews, with particular attention to innovation, complexity, and impact in the legal work undertaken. Tilleke & Gibbins’ recognition in multiple categories underscores the firm’s leadership in providing sophisticated IP advice and practical solutions to clients throughout Asia.

The Asialaw Awards 2025 added an accolade for one Tilleke & Gibbins attorney:

The Asialaw Awards celebrate leading domestic and regional law firms across 20 jurisdictions in Asia. Each year’s awards are based on months of research and client feedback, with honorees selected for the strength of their track record and reputation. The Laos Female Lawyer of the Year distinction awarded to Prisna Sungwanna, partner and director of the firm’s Laos office, recognizes her outstanding contributions to client service and her role as a leader in the Lao legal community.

Industry publication Media Law International  has ranked Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam practice in “Tier 1” for our capabilities and accomplishments in media over the past year. To determine the rankings, a team of researchers at MLI  assessed firms’ case work over the past 12 months as well as developments including personnel changes and new offices. The team conducted interviews with the legal community and firms’ clients.

Researchers assessed work done by firms in media law over the past year, developments within firms such as changes in personnel and new offices, and feedback from the legal community and firms’ clients.

Tilleke & Gibbins has won the “Employer of Choice” award for 2016 in both Thailand and Vietnam, as determined by Asian Legal Business  magazine. For Thailand, this is the fourth consecutive year that our firm has won the award, and for Vietnam, this is the third time in the past four years.The rankings were determined through market analysis and feedback from thousands of law firm employees across Asia, and they were based on factors such as job satisfaction, remuneration, work-life balance, career prospects, mentorship, and job security, among other aspects.

Who’s Who Legal has named Tilleke & Gibbins as the winner of the 2016 Who’s Who Legal Country Award for Thailand. With the awards ceremony now in its third year, Tilleke & Gibbins was the first firm ever to win this award for Thailand. The award was presented at the Who’s Who Legal Awards ceremony on April 11 at the University Club in New York.
