Tilleke & Gibbins Recognized among World’s Leading Employment Law Practices

International Employment Lawyer has released the inaugural IEL Elite list celebrating excellence in employment law, and Tilleke & Gibbins is identified as a “first-class regional team” in Asia-Pacific.

The IEL Elite list recognizes some 100 firms worldwide with top-performing employment law practices in the last 12 months. Firms included in the list are identified as international, regional, or practicing in a particular jurisdiction. Tilleke & Gibbins was given a regional listing, with offices in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam recommended for their superior employment law services.

The recognition is accompanied by a lengthy editorial by International Employment Lawyer that provides an overview of the firm’s employment law practice, identifies some key individuals in the practice around the region, and discusses some of the areas of specialization of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Employment practice.

The 2021 edition of Chambers Asia-Pacific has been released, with Tilleke & Gibbins earning high honors across all of the firm’s jurisdictions in Southeast Asia. For Thailand, the firm earned rankings in all of the practice areas ranked in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2021, including Band 1 rankings—the publication’s highest recognition for practice areas—for its intellectual property and employment practices. The full practice-area rankings for Tilleke & Gibbins in Thailand are summarized in the table below. Tilleke & Gibbins also secured two Band 1 rankings—Intellectual Property and Technology, Media, and Telecoms—in Vietnam, along with rankings for Corporate/M&A and Employment.
