Leading Southeast Asian regional law firm Tilleke & Gibbins is delighted to announce that Kasamesunt Teerasitsathaporn has been promoted to the firm’s partnership, effective January 2014.
A senior litigator in the firm’s dispute resolution and litigation group in Bangkok, Kasamesunt specializes in complex civil and criminal litigation, with a particularly strong background in resolving customs disputes. Among the wide range of disputes that he handles for clients, Kasamesunt has notable experience in trying complex cases before Thailand’s Administrative Court.
In addition to his role at Tilleke & Gibbins, Kasamesunt currently serves as a director of the Draft Law Screening Committee of the Lawyers Council of Thailand, a committee responsible for reviewing all draft laws before they are passed by the legislature.

Kasamesunt holds a Bachelor of Laws from Thammasat University and a Master of Laws from Ramkhamhaeng University. Kasamesunt, who has 18 years of legal practice experience, has been with Tilleke & Gibbins since 2001. He is an admitted member of the Thai Bar Association.
