Tilleke & Gibbins is pleased to announce that the firm was named Thailand Firm of the Year at the Asialaw Regional Awards 2019, which took place on May 30, in Hong Kong. This esteemed award recognizes the firm’s flagship Bangkok office for its exceptional work across all practice areas and industries over the past 18 months. Chaiwat Keratisuthisathorn, of the firm’s corporate and commercial group, and Michael Ramirez, of the firm’s dispute resolution group, were in attendance to receive the award on behalf of Tilleke & Gibbins.

In addition to being named the winner of the Thailand Firm of the Year award, Tilleke & Gibbins was also in the running for five other awards, including Firm of the Year for Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar; Regional Insurance Firm of the Year; and Regional Regulatory Firm of the Year.

This year’s Asialaw Regional Awards recognized leading law firms in eight practice areas, seven industries, and from 25 jurisdictions around the region. Winners were selected by totaling the average score collected through a number of client surveys that the Asialaw team circulated. Awards were given to the firm or individual with the highest average score.

Tilleke & Gibbins has been named to the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Fast 30: Asia’s Fastest Growing Firms 2024. The ranking highlights law firms across Asia that have demonstrated significant growth and leadership in a competitive and evolving legal landscape. Selection for the ALB Fast 30 is based on metrics such as growth in fee-earners, new office openings, the addition of key partners and clients, revenue increases, and other measures of expansion. This is the second time Tilleke & Gibbins has been included on the list, having previously earned recognition in 2022. The Fast 30 ranking complements ALB’s annual Top 50 Largest Law Firms feature, which evaluates firms by total lawyer headcount. While not included among the region’s largest firms, Tilleke & Gibbins continues to be prominently ranked by ALB for its presence in Thailand and Vietnam.
