In-House Community

On September 10, 2020, three Tilleke & Gibbins lawyers will speak at In-House Community eCongress Vietnam, a conference exclusively targeting in-house counsel, company directors, and compliance professionals of companies doing business in Vietnam. This year’s event, which will be held entirely online in separate sessions on September 8 and September 10, is the latest installation of the popular In-House Congress series organized by In-House Community, a unit of Pacific Business Press.

Waewpen Piemwichai and Giang Thi Huong Tran, members of Tilleke & Gibbins’ top-ranked tech/media/telecom team, will open the September 10 session with a webinar on “Data & Cyber Security and Online Transactions in Vietnam.” Their presentation will provide an overview of the current data privacy regulations and cybersecurity requirements in Vietnam, and best practices for maintaining compliance.

Following the TMT presentation, Thomas J. Treutler, partner and managing director of the firm’s Vietnam offices, will join a panel discussion of private practice lawyers and in-house counsel, addressing the simple but vitally important topic, “What do law firms need to improve?” The panel discussion will conlcude with a Q&A session open to all attendees.

Attendance for both days is free for all qualified professionals, though space is limited. Please see the In-House Community website for more information and to register for the event.
