Tilleke & Gibbins Lawyers Recognized in IP Stars 2021 Rankings from MIP

Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) has released its IP Stars 2021 individual rankings, with eight Tilleke & Gibbins lawyers in three Southeast Asian jurisdictions included in the list. The rankings, which spotlight the world’s best practitioners working in the fields of patents and trademarks, are selected based on client and peer recommendations in each jurisdiction, with the most commended practitioners being listed in the final results of the annual survey.

In terms of the number of ranked individuals, Tilleke & Gibbins leads the way in both Thailand and Vietnam with four and three rankings, respectively. The group of recognized practitioners is divided into “Patent Stars” and “Trademark Stars,” with many lawyers identified in both categories.

The firm received nominations for both Thailand Firm of the Year and Vietnam Firm of the Year. The Chambers Asia-Pacific and Greater China Region Honours recognize preeminent law firms demonstrating outstanding work, impressive strategic growth, and excellence in client service across the region. The Thailand nomination marks the firm’s sixth consecutive shortlisting and twelfth since 2010. For Vietnam, this is the third consecutive year the firm has been recognized. Tilleke & Gibbins has been recognized as one of Asia’s leading international intellectual property service teams in the 2025 IP Eagle Talents Selection and Training Program, organized by China IP Magazine.
