Tilleke & Gibbins Hosts Multilaw Global Employment Forum

Tilleke & Gibbins, as the Thailand member of international legal network Multilaw, will be hosting the Multilaw Global Employment Forum on October 25, 2018, addressing the latest issues affecting employment law worldwide.

Panelists from Europe, the Middle East, and the US, will join Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut, partner at Tilleke & Gibbins and head of the firm’s non-contentious employment practice, to discuss global developments in employment flexibility, the gig economy, types of employment, defining working time, pay rates, vacation rights, and other trends bent on challenging the status quo.

The complimentary session will take place at Tilleke & Gibbins’ office in Bangkok from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m., and is designed for human resources directors, in-house counsel, and other senior executives responsible for managing an international workforce. Immediately following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with peers and panelists while enjoying light refreshments.

On November 19, 2020, Tiziana Sucharitkul, co-managing partner at Tilleke & Gibbins and director of the firm’s regional disputes resolution practice, will join a panel of managing partners from leading law firms around the world for a special roundtable seminar at the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference. Originally due to be held in Miami, the 2020 conference has moved online this year under the theme “Virtually Together,” in light of the ongoing global health crisis.

In a research project to celebrate Pride Month 2020, World Trademark Review  (WTR) recently set out to explore the landscape of diversity and inclusion initiatives in law firms across Asia, culminating in an article in the magazine’s July edition. In discussing the activity of firms that are proactively pushing forward diversity and inclusion in Asia, WTR  specifically highlighted Tilleke & Gibbins’ unique approach across the firm’s offices in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
