Tilleke & Gibbins Has Two of ALB’s Top 15 TMT Lawyers in 2022

Asian Legal Business

Two attorneys from Tilleke & Gibbins are included in the recently released “Asia’s Top 15 TMT Lawyers” from Asian Legal Business: Charuwan Charoonchitsathian, a partner in the firm’s Bangkok office, and Waewpen Piemwichai, a senior associate at Tilleke & Gibbins in Hanoi. Tilleke & Gibbins is the only firm to be represented by two individuals on the list of the best technology, media, and telecoms (TMT) lawyers.

The list identifies the leading TMT lawyers in Asia based on submissions from firms and recommendations and feedback from clients, colleagues, and the wider legal market. It takes on added importance this year as the technology sector has been expanding rapidly, spurred on by the pandemic, accelerating adoption in the region, and rapid technical advances. Lawyers were ranked based on their work in the TMT space, client recommendations, and comments from managing partners and colleagues. The judging panel considered factors such as leadership, professional accomplishments, and contributions to community development. The attorneys identified in the list are among the most trusted in the region to help technology and telecommunications clients navigate the growing complexity of the industry and the accompanying regulatory developments.

Asian Legal Business, owned by Thomson Reuters, is a world-leading source of information for businesses and professionals. To read more about Asia’s Top 15 TMT Lawyers, please see the April 2022 issue of Asian Legal Business.
