Tilleke & Gibbins Featured in Vietnam Business Forum

Vietnam Business Forum

Vietnam Business Forum, a weekly magazine published by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, featured Tilleke & Gibbins in its edition for August 1-8, 2011. This was a special edition of the publication, as it was focused on the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand. The issue highlighted political, economic, trade, and investment achievements in Vietnamese-Thai relations since 1976, while also looking forward toward potential future cooperation between the two nations.

Given Tilleke & Gibbins’ presence in both Thailand and Vietnam, the article discussed the firm’s history and its move into Vietnam. Focusing on the Vietnam offices, the article profiled the firm’s commercial and IP practices, clients, and honors that the firm has recently received. Thomas J. Treutler, Partner and Managing Director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam operations, described the firm’s strengths: “Although rooted in Southeast Asia, our practice is global. We not only help our clients succeed in business transactions, but we also help them overcome language barriers and appreciate the cultural and historical factors of doing business in Vietnam.”
