Tilleke & Gibbins Earns Three Honors at IAM/WTR Global IP Awards 2023

Tilleke & Gibbins won awards for three jurisdictions at the recent Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) and World Trademark Review (WTR) Global IP Awards 2023.

The firm’s achievements in the field of intellectual property in the past year led to the following awards:

  • Indonesia Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year
  • Thailand Patent Firm of the Year
  • Vietnam IP Firm of the Year

The awards ceremony celebrated exceptional accomplishments by IP firms and professionals on a global scale. A total of 169 awards were presented to winners representing various jurisdictions.

Tilleke & Gibbins has consistently excelled in the Global IP Awards, winning the titles of Thailand and Vietnam IP Firm of the Year every year since the event’s inception in 2019. This year’s third win is a milestone for the firm, as it is the first time Tilleke & Gibbins has been honored as the Indonesia Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year.

The Global IP Awards, first launched in 2019, recognize the outstanding achievements of law firms and attorneys in IP litigation, prosecution, and transactional work. The awards were announced at a ceremony in London on September 15. With a focus on trademark and patent work, the awards for Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property practices in Thailand and Vietnam reflect the firm’s regional dominance in these fields.

Tilleke & Gibbins is pleased to announce that three of the firm’s intellectual property practitioners have been recognized in the IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists 2026, an annual guide published by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) that identifies the world’s leading experts in developing and implementing strategies to maximize the value of intellectual property portfolios. This year, Alan Adcock, Peeyakorn Suparugbundit, and Somboon Earterasarun were included in the prestigious rankings, which encompass leading professionals from law firms, corporations, research institutions, and universities around the world. The 2026 ranking marks Alan’s 16th consecutive inclusion in the IAM Strategy 300, reflecting his longstanding leadership and influence in intellectual property strategy. The recognition also represents a fourth consecutive ranking for Somboon, highlighting his continued success in helping clients maximize the value of their intellectual property assets. In addition, Peeyakorn’s first appearance in the guide recognizes her growing reputation and significant contributions to the profession.
