Tilleke & Gibbins Earns Praise from Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice

Ministry of Justice, Vietnam

Tilleke & Gibbins was honored for its “exemplary achievements” in the practice of law in Vietnam at a reception organized by the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi on March 10. Thomas J. Treutler, partner and managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, was also recognized individually for his achievements.

The commendations were presented as part of a special event celebrating 20 years of practice by foreign lawyers in Vietnam—a market that was closed to foreign law firms until the mid-’90s. Only seven foreign law firms and five individual foreign lawyers received this high honor.

On August 5, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) named Dutsadee Dutsadeepanich as one of 89 regional representatives worldwide in its Young Arbitrators Forum (YAF). Dutsadee, who will be serving a two-year term, is joining the YAF’s South Asia Regional Chapter as the only representative from Thailand among the chapter’s 16 representatives. Dutsadee will officially assume her new role as a representative in the YAF South Asia Regional Chapter in a ceremony at the biennial ICC YAF Global Conference, which will take place virtually on September 29.
