Tilleke & Gibbins Earns 29 Firm Rankings and 18 Individual Rankings in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2022

In The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2022, which was released on January 12, Tilleke & Gibbins once again earned high marks across all six jurisdictions. This year, Tilleke & Gibbins’ rankings reflect continued upward momentum in the practice area rankings, plus two new recognitions for individual practitioners.

The latest rankings have Tilleke & Gibbins moving up to Tier 2 in the areas of Capital Markets and Restructuring & Insolvency in Thailand, while the firm maintained its strong position in all of its other rankings across all six jurisdictions. In total, Tilleke & Gibbins received 29 practice rankings—30% of which are Tier 1.

The firm’s Thailand office earned 15 practice-area rankings:

  • Tier 1: Customs and International Trade, Intellectual Property, Labour and Employment, TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications), Tax
  • Tier 2: Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A, Dispute Resolution, Insurance, Projects and Energy, Restructuring & Insolvency, Transport
  • Tier 3: Banking and Finance, Dispute Resolution: International Arbitration, Real Estate and Construction

Tilleke & Gibbins’ offices in Vietnam received rankings for 10 practice areas:

  • Tier 1: Data Protection, Intellectual Property (International Firms), Labour and Employment, TMT
  • Tier 2: Corporate and M&A, Dispute Resolution: Litigation
  • Tier 3: Dispute Resolution: International Arbitration, Insurance, Projects and Energy
  • Tier 4: Banking and Finance

Tilleke & Gibbins earned one additional practice-area or firm ranking for each of the jurisdictions of Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, and Myanmar:

  • Tier 1: Laos (single category)
  • Tier 2: Cambodia (single category); Myanmar (Corporate and M&A); Indonesia (Intellectual Property)

The 2026 edition of the Asia Super 50 TMT Lawyers list from Asian Legal Business (ALB) includes Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, partner and director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial department in Bangkok. This marks Nop’s third inclusion in the list, following her previous recognitions in 2023 and 2024. She is one of only three lawyers in Thailand named in the 2026 edition. The Asia Super 50 TMT Lawyers list recognizes leading practitioners across the region’s technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.
