Tilleke & Gibbins Attorneys Mentor Ramkhamhaeng University Moot Court Team

On March 12, 2020, two members of Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, Nandana Indananda, partner, and Wattanakit Thanarattananukul, attorney-at-law, visited Ramkhamhaeng University to mentor the university’s team in preparation for their appearance in the national moot court competition.

This competition features teams from 16 universities, who will face off in the moot court to challenge their skills in argumentation and courtroom procedure. The tournament-style competition hones students’ skills in developing and delivering courtroom statements and arguments, and provides valuable experience in a courtroom setting.

Nandana and Wattanakit’s training helped the students focus their arguments and strategy in preparation for the final competition, held at Thammasat University. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has forced the postponement of the moot court competition, the Ramkhamhaeng team is currently continuing their preparations based on the insights from Nandana and Wattanakit.
