Tilleke & Gibbins is delighted to announce that we have opened a new office in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Building on our firm’s presence in Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam, this new office will allow us to better serve our international clients who do business across Southeast Asia.

Alan Adcock, a partner and deputy director of the intellectual property department at Tilleke & Gibbins, and Areeya Pornwiriyangkura, an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, will speak on the topics, “Importance of IP – Trademark Registration” and “Franchise-Related Regulations,” at the Asia Food Franchising Seminar, an event hosted by THAIFEX–World of Food Asia.

Tilleke & Gibbins has been nominated for the Thailand Law Firm of the Year Award 2015 by Chambers Asia-Pacific. This nomination comes after the firm was honored to win the Thailand Law Firm of the Year Award 2014. This year’s winner will be announced at Chambers Asia-Pacific’s annual ceremony and dinner, which will be held at the Ritz Carlton in Hong Kong on May 4, 2015.

Identifying the best intellectual property (IP) lawyers in Asia, Asia IP  has released the 2014 edition of Asia IP Experts, a list of leading lawyers in nine key, IP-related practice areas. The list was compiled through the results of an extensive survey of in-house counsel and private practice lawyers, who were asked to make nominations.The following Tilleke & Gibbins lawyers were listed in the guide in the corresponding practice areas:
