On April 7, 2011, Tilleke & Gibbins was awarded Thailand IP Law Firm of the Year by Managing Intellectual Property at its Global Awards ceremony in London. This marks the fifth consecutive year that the firm has won this prestigious award.

The Global Awards ceremony is the culmination of Managing IP’s five month-long World IP Survey research. In addition to producing its rankings in patent and trademark practices, Managing IP canvassed the market to pinpoint firms that excelled across the board in IP practice. These firms were named Global Awards winners.

Darani Vachanavuttivong, Co-Managing Partner and Managing Director, Intellectual Property, accepted the award. She stated, “The success and recognition of our IP team worldwide is the result of the work we do at home for our clients. Excellence in client service and unswerving dedication to our clients’ interests are the reasons we succeed. I am proud to accept this award on behalf of all of the members of our Thailand IP team.”

Asian Legal Business (ALB) has published the ALB Asia IP Rankings 2026, the latest edition of its annual guide recognizing leading intellectual property firms across the region. Continuing the approach introduced last year, the rankings present a unified table in each jurisdiction, combining patent and trademark/copyright work to provide a more holistic view of the IP market. Tilleke & Gibbins has retained strong rankings in all three jurisdictions covered by the survey: Thailand: Tier 1 Vietnam: Tier 1 Indonesia: Tier 2 The rankings are based on work conducted between February 2025 and February 2026, covering both ongoing and completed contentious and noncontentious matters.
