Thailand Automotive and Logistics Summit: Presentation on Labor and Employment Law

Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group, has been invited to speak on the topic of “Legal Aspects of Labor Law in Thailand” at the Thailand Automotive & Logistics Summit 2017.

The event will be attended by leaders from the business community, including Chanin Khaochan, Executive Director of the Board of Investment Regional Investment and Economic Center, Eastern Region; Wirote Rommayes, President of the Eastern Transport Association; John Andes, International Tax Partner at KPMG; and Jose Herrera, Lawyer and Member of the Board of the Oriental Business Group.

June, who is an expert on noncontentious employment and transportation and logistics matters, will be providing her insights on amendments to Thailand’s Labor Protection Act, changes in work rule requirements for employers, and other notable developments in labor and employment that are relevant to the automotive and logistics sectors in Thailand.

The event will be organized by the Oriental Business Group, a leading consultancy service for the automotive sector, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 19 at the Pacific City Club in Bangkok.
