On November 22, 2012, the Euromoney Legal Media Group will hold its second annual Asia Women in Business Law Awards at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Hong Kong. Again this year, Tilleke & Gibbins stands amongst a leading group of law firms that will be recognized for their commitment to the advancement of women. The firms will be judged on a range of factors, predominately initiatives for gender diversity, innovation, mentoring, talent management, and female leadership within each firm.

Following Asialaw’s extensive annual survey of senior corporate executives, in-house counsel, and private-practice lawyers, five members of the Tilleke & Gibbins team, from both our Thailand and Vietnam offices, have been recognized as leading lawyers in their respective jurisdictions this year.

With increasing tourist arrivals from neighboring countries and a surge of foreign investors in the region, Vietnam lies at the centre of hotel expansion, whose demand for a more diversified service is growing. It is important for the government to guide the industry to sustain tourism and improve its infrastructure.
