Suebsiri Taweepon to Present Webinar on Online IP Infringement during COVID-19

On April 30, 2020, Suebsiri Taweepon, partner in Tilleke & Gibbins market-leading intellectual property practice, will present a webinar entitled “Growth of the Online Marketplace during COVID-19 and its Impact on IP Infringement.” The timely webinar, co-hosted by Tilleke & Gibbins and the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA),  will provide Thai companies with an overview of how the online marketplace has grown over the past few years—and more recently in light of the COVID-19 outbreak—and the associated infringement issues that have come along with it. In particular, Suebsiri will look at the stark increase in sales of counterfeit masks, hand sanitizer, and other medical and sanitation products that are in high demand as a result of the virus.

This webinar is the fourth episode in a series of webinars hosted jointly by Tilleke & Gibbins and the TLCA to help listed and non-listed Thai companies navigate theses unpresented times. The online session, which will be conducted in Thai language, will start promptly at 2 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2020. If you’re interested in attending the webinar, please register your interest by sending an email to [email protected].
