Somboon Earterasarun to Present on Branding and Trademark Strategy at NIA Event

Tilleke & Gibbins partner Somboon Earterasarun will be speaking at an upcoming National Innovation Agency (NIA) event titled “Intellectual Property Strategy for Innovative Industry Training.” Somboon’s presentation will provide attendees with insights into branding and trademark strategy, with a focus on how effective brand management can play a role in protecting innovation.

Taking place on February 8, 2019, at the Mercure Hotel in Bangkok, the event is part of NIA’s MIND CREDIT program, an initiative aimed at giving Thai entrepreneurs opportunities to connect with professionals across various industries, and preparing them for competitive markets. In addition to Somboon’s presentation, other industry experts will share their views on IP and patent protection and management, as well as copyright and trade secret protection.

Treutler, partner and managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, will speak at a workshop on patent protection, licensing, and enforcement in Ho Chi Minh City organized by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the American Chamber of Commerce. The workshop is designed to raise public awareness of patents in Vietnam. Thomas will be speaking on “Patent Infringement – Civil Litigation, Trial and Remedies.”
