SIPA Seminar: Registration of Intellectual Property and Preparation of Software License Agreement

Tilleke & Gibbins and the Software Industry Promotion Agency (SIPA) will co-host a seminar on the topic: “Registration of Intellectual Property and Preparation of Software License Agreement.” This seminar aims to counsel developers and programmers of enterprise software and producers of digital content through three sessions of presentations delivered by Tilleke & Gibbins attorneys. The sessions will focus on:

  • IP Protection and IP Infringing Issues Regarding Software Copyright: Presented by Nandana Indananda, a partner in the Tilleke & Gibbins intellectual property group and a former judge of the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court
  • IP Registration and Commercialization of Software Business: Presented by Suebsiri Taweepon, an attorney-at-law in the Tilleke & Gibbins intellectual property group
  • Software License Agreement: Presented by Areeya Pornwiriyangkura, an attorney-at-law in the Tilleke & Gibbins intellectual property group

The Software Industry Promotion Agency is a public organization that develops plans and policies to advocate the Thai software industry. The seminar will be held in Thai and will take place on July 19 from 8.30 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. at the auditorium of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Bangkok office. In a research project to celebrate Pride Month 2020, World Trademark Review  (WTR) recently set out to explore the landscape of diversity and inclusion initiatives in law firms across Asia, culminating in an article in the magazine’s July edition.
