Session on Arbitration and Dispute Resolution at 2017 Asia Pacific Insurance Conference

Aaron Le Marquer, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group who leads the firm’s regional contentious insurance practice, has been invited to join the International Insurance Law Association/Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances (AIDA) Working Party Sessions at the 2017 Asia Pacific Insurance Conference, organized by AIDA in collaboration with other leading insurance associations.

Aaron will be sharing his insights on “Arbitration and Dispute Resolution in Thailand and Indochina” as part of the event. He will be joined by legal practitioners and insurance and reinsurance experts from 14 Asia-Pacific nations and the United States.

The conference will be held during October 18-20 at the Raffles City Convention Center in Singapore, with the AIDA Dispute Resolution Working Party Session scheduled on the event’s first day from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you would like to learn more about this event, please visit the Asia Pacific Insurance Conference website.

During the session, Saithong will provide an overview of the measures that have already been implemented in Laos to protect the general public and businesses most impacted by the outbreak, and explain the impact on the virus has on employment in the jurisdiction.
