Seminar on Trademark and Branding Strategies for Technology Transfer

Alan Adcock and Somboon Earterasarun, both partners in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, will be speaking at a seminar on “Trademark and Branding Strategies for University Technology Transfer Offices.” The event will be jointly hosted by the Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC), the Licensing Executive Society (LES) Thailand, and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) at OHEC in Bangkok on August 7.

As the president of LES Thailand, Alan will be providing opening remarks at the seminar, while Somboon will be presenting on the topic of “Trademark and Branding Strategy Before and After the Launch of Products/Services.”

Joining the Tilleke & Gibbins lawyers will be experts from across the region, who will be sharing their knowledge and experiences on trademark protection and infringement, capacity building for technology transfer personnel, and future implications for stakeholders in ASEAN.

Nandana, who is also vice president of the Lawyer’s Council of Thailand’s (LCT) subcommittee on foreign affairs, was joined at the event by Waralee Sripawadkul, attorney-at-law in the firm’s intellectual property group. Together they represented Tilleke & Gibbins at the two-day meeting.
