On October 27, Noppramart Thammateeradaycho, counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Bangkok office, gave a presentation on enforcement of arbitral awards in Thailand and Vietnam in a webinar organized by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

This particular webinar was the ninth installment of the SIAC Academy’s “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards in Asia: Theory & Practice” series, which outlines arbitration law in various Asian jurisdictions and enlists local specialists to share practical understanding of how these laws are applied to the enforcement of arbitral awards.

During Noppramart’s presentation, she was joined by fellow arbitration experts to present detailed information on relevant legislation, definitions, procedures, grounds for annulment or nonenforcement of an award, and notable examples of the Thai judiciary’s treatment of arbitral awards.
