Noppramart Thammateeradaycho to Help Lead Mock Arbitration for SIAC Indochina Academy

On October 15–16, 2020, Noppramart Thammateeradaycho, counsel in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution department, will act as a facilitator for a SIAC Indochina Academy virtual session titled “Time and Cost Savers at SIAC: Emergency Arbitration, Expedited Procedure and Early Dismissal.”

The SIAC Academy is an initiative of the Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC), providing hands-on training for arbitration professionals. This particular intermediate-level training session will be chaired by Gary Born, the president of the SIAC Court of Arbitration, and will bring together dozens of top international arbitration practitioners and arbitrators such as Noppramart to share their expertise with program participants.

Noppramart will assist in leading mock arbitration sessions by acting as a co-arbitrator in the proceedings. She will be joined by a diverse group of other seasoned international arbitration experts active in the region, and together they will help program participants hone their arbitration skills and develop new understanding of the arbitral process. One area that the program faculty and facilitators will devote special attention to is the updated SIAC Arbitration Rules 2016 and the mechanisms for emergency arbitration, expedited procedure, and early dismissal.

For more information on the training program and to register for the session, please visit the event page on the SIAC website.
