Myanmar Insight 2017: Overview of Investment Landscape

On September 22, 2017, Yuwadee Thean-ngarm, director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Yangon office and secretary-general of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM), will be joining the event “Myanmar Insight 2017” to discuss the key drivers to successfully developing Myanmar’s business landscape.

The event, co-hosted by TBAM and the Royal Thai Embassy, Yangon, will focus on the progress and real potential of Myanmar, the actual experience of Thai investors in Thilawa Special Economic Zone, and tips for future investors. It will also provide insights on Myanmar’s financial system following the recent liberalization of limitations on foreign bank branches opening in Myanmar, and other interesting matters affecting investment.

Myanmar Insight 2017 will be held at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit in Bangkok, from 08:00 to 17:30.
