MIP Ranks Tilleke & Gibbins’ Intellectual Property Practice Among Top Four Firms in Laos

In its 2016 rankings, leading IP publication Managing Intellectual Property  ranked Tilleke & Gibbins as a “Recommended” firm in Laos in the category “Intellectual Property.” Only four firms received this top recognition, which places our firm at the pinnacle of the legal market.

To determine the rankings, Managing IP’s team of researchers obtained information from thousands of firms and their clients by phone, online surveys, email, and face-to-face meetings. The researchers assessed firms’ workloads, quality of work, and the strength of firms’ IP teams over a six-month period.

Tilleke & Gibbins’ regional trademark practice has once again been recognized among the best in Southeast Asia in Managing Intellectual Property (Managing IP) magazine’s annual trademark rankings, a component of its highly regarded IP Stars guide to the world’s top intellectual property law firms. In the 2023 edition of Managing IP’s trademark survey, Tilleke & Gibbins retained its position in the top tier in both Thailand and Vietnam and earned a Tier 2 ranking in a newly combined “Trademark” category in Indonesia, which was previously split into Trademark Prosecution and Contentious. These achievements continue a long run of success for the firm in Managing IP’s trademark rankings.
