Renowned industry publication Managing Intellectual Property  has nominated Tilleke & Gibbins to win “IP Firm of the Year” awards in both Thailand and Vietnam. Based on client feedback and extensive market research, the awards recognize the top intellectual property practices in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America. In 2015, Managing IP  named Tilleke & Gibbins “Firm of the Year” in Asia and Vietnam.

On June 10, 2019, head of Tilleke & Gibbins’ office in Vientiane, Dino Santaniello, will speak at an event hosted by the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lao PDR (ECCIL) for honorary consuls from Europe who have been seconded to the country. Dino’s presentation will give a brief introduction to the European Commission’s Southeast Asia Intellectual Property Rights SME Helpdesk, discuss the challenges of protecting IP rights in Laos, and provide attendees with practical tips and tools from real-life experiences to better enforce IP rights in the quickly-expanding Lao market.
