MIP Asia-Pacific Awards 2019: Tilleke & Gibbins Takes Home Three Trophies

Tilleke & Gibbins is proud to announce that the firm has been selected as the winner of three awards at Managing Intellectual Property’s (MIP)  2019 Asia-Pacific Awards ceremony, which took place on March 20, in Hong Kong. The three awards are as follows:

Firm of the Year Awards

  • Thailand Contentious Firm of the Year
  • Vietnam Firm of the Year

Case of the Year Award

  • Impact Case of the Year for Thailand—for Valentino S.P.A. v. Department of Intellectual Property and Matsuda & Co ., for which the case description can be found here.

Impressively, this announcement marks the sixth consecutive year that the firm’s Vietnam practice has earned the Firm of the Year award, while the Thailand Contentious Firm and Impact Case of the Year awards both debuted this year, making Tilleke & Gibbins the first firm in Asia to be awarded them.

As one of the leading publications in the IP field, MIP recognizes industry-leading legal practitioners and firms from around the world through their annual IP Stars rankings and global awards events. Winners for the Asia-Pacific Awards 2019 were selected through in-depth market research, reviews from clients, and feedback from other legal professionals in the region.
