MIP Asia-Pacific Awards 2018: Tilleke & Gibbins Recognized as Thailand Firm of the Year

Tilleke & Gibbins has been recognized as Firm of the Year for Thailand in Managing Intellectual Property’s Asia-Pacific Awards 2018, held at the JW Marriott in Hong Kong on the evening of March 21.

Tilleke & Gibbins was one of only five domestic and international law firms shortlisted in the Thailand Firm of the Year category, and is honored to have won the award based on the strength of the firm’s client focus, regional expertise, and international vision.

“This award marks another important milestone in Tilleke & Gibbins’ growth as a premier law firm in Southeast Asia – one that is committed to sustainably growing our business through full-service regional offerings, while delivering real changes that will benefit our clients,” said Darani Vachanavuttivong, co-managing partner and managing director of the firm’s intellectual property group.

Tilleke & Gibbins’ strong regional presence was further affirmed with the firm being recognized as Vietnam Firm of the Year and Asia-Pacific CSR Firm of the Year in the Asia-Pacific Awards 2018, which are based on the results of extensive market research, and client and peer interviews.

Managing Intellectual Property is a leading publication in field of IP, known for its highly regarded IP Stars firm rankings as well as the annual Global Awards. This is the first year that the publication has launched its Asia-Pacific Awards as a standalone event, reflecting the region’s growing importance to domestic and international companies, and the law firms that advise them.

In the newly released 2022 “Employer of Choice” issue from Asian Legal Business, Tilleke & Gibbins has once again been recognized as a top employer in the legal industry in both Thailand and Vietnam. This is the tenth consecutive year that the firm has won this title in Thailand, and the remarkable eighth time for Tilleke & Gibbins in Vietnam. Tilleke & Gibbins is well represented in the newly announced shortlists for the 2022 Asia-Pacific Awards from Managing Intellectual Property (MIP).
