Michael Lee to Host Vietnam Panel at Singapore IFLR Forum

Michael K. Lee, Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial in Vietnam, will be moderating a panel on investment in Vietnam at the International Financial Law Review’s Southeast Asia Forum 2014. Michael’s panel will include representatives from Dell, UTC Building & Industrial Systems, and Merck, Sharp & Dohme, and will cover the following topics:

  • How to invest in Vietnam: licenses, approvals and FDI restrictions explained
  • What to expect from the liberalization of Vietnam’s FDI regime
  • Avoiding FCPA and UK Bribery Act risk in the jurisdiction
  • Developments in Vietnam’s labor laws

IFLR’s Southeast Asia Forum will be attended by in-house counsel  from the top companies in Asia and Singapore-based banks. The full-day event will be held on April 24 at the Hilton Singapore, and will also feature panels on M&A and private equity across Southeast Asia, accessing Asia’s capital markets, and investing in Myanmar.
