On March 24, 2011, in Ho Chi Minh City’s Legend Hotel Saigon, our Michael K. Lee, Department Head – Corporate/Commercial, presented on “Obligations Under Labor Law in Case of Mergers, Acquisitions and Reorganizations.”  The presentation, which was part of the seminar, Practical Labor Law Issues and Problem Solving for Enterprises in Vietnam, covered:

  • Obligations of a purchaser to employees in the event of an acquisition;
  • Rights that should be taken into account in takeovers; and
  • Corporate reorganizations and Vietnam labor law.
