Loc Xuan Le to Speak at USPTO Anti-Counterfeiting Workshop

On April 5, 2019, partner Loc Xuan Le will speak at the Asia Regional Workshop on Enforcement Against Trade in Counterfeit Food, Beverages, Cosmetics, and Fast Moving Consumer Goods, a four-day conference organized by the USPTO and the U.S. Department of Justice. The event is supported by, among others, Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology, the ASEAN Secretariat, and the European Union Intellectual Property Office, and is open to attendees from countries across Asia and the South Pacific.

The workshop is running from April 2-5, 2019, at the Reverie Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, and features presentations as well as open discussions on the laws and best practices for deterring trade in counterfeit goods across Asia. Loc will speak on the final day of the event as part of a panel on “Case Studies on Food and Beverage Investigations.”

Loc heads the IP enforcement efforts and is a principal of TGVN, Tilleke & Gibbins’ associate firm for local IP filings in Vietnam.
