Following the recent release of the 2020 edition of the “Top 250 Women in IP,” published by Managing Intellectual Property  (MIP), Tilleke & Gibbins is proud to share that Linh Thi Mai Nguyen, partner and head of the firm’s trademark practice in Vietnam, and Sukontip Jitmongkolthong, partner in the firm’s Bangkok office, have been recognized as two of the world’s leading female IP practitioners. Notably, Linh is the only practitioner in Vietnam who was honored with this recognition, and Sukontip is joined by only one other ranked individual in Thailand, further cementing the firm’s position as a premier intellectual property practice in Southeast Asia.

MIP’s annual “Top 250 Women in IP” list sets out to recognize female IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally well for their clients and firms in the past year. The final list of ranked individuals was determined after thorough review of submissions provided for the list’s sister publication, IP Stars, and the MIP Awards.

Alan Adcock and Somboon Earterasarun, partners in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property (IP) department in Bangkok, are named in the 2023 edition of IAM Strategy 300. Alan, who also leads the firm’s regional life sciences practice, has now been recognized in the annual IAM Strategy 300 list for 13 years, while this is Somboon’s first year on the list. Published by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM), a platform that focuses specifically on IP as a business asset, IAM Strategy 300 aims to identify individuals around the world who lead the way in developing and implementing strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios. Prospective honorees are identified through confidential nominations, and then the finalists are selected through an in-depth research process research process that involves interviews with senior members of the global IP community.
