LES Thailand Seminar: Franchising in Thailand and Beyond

Licensing Executives Society

In order to provide insight into the important aspects of franchising, the Licensing Executives Society Thailand will host a seminar on the topic, “Franchising in Thailand and Beyond: Good Planning = Good Business.” The seminar will focus on franchising and topics including trademarks, trade secrets, tax, takeovers, and termination.

Alan Adcock, partner and deputy director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property and regulatory affairs group and Vice President of LES Thailand, will speak at the seminar on the subject “Setting the Stage – Franchisor v. Franchisee Goal and Objectives – Thai Perspective.” In addition, the seminar will feature discussions on experiences in franchising from the perspective of Thai industries and franchising trends around the world with an emphasis on ASEAN.

The Licensing Executives Society is an association of 32 national and regional members that have an interest in the transfer of technology and licensing of intellectual property rights.
