Joseph Tomkiewicz Joins HSBC Webinar to Discuss Decommissioning in Southeast Asia

On September 14, Joseph Tomkiewicz, partner and co-head of Tilleke & Gibbins’ regional energy industry group, joined a webinar hosted by HSBC to discuss decommissioning of oil and gas assets and infrastructure in Thailand and across the region. In doing so, Joseph dove into the unique approaches towards decommissioning by governments around Southeast Asia, provided insights into whether the oil and gas industry is prepared for decommissioning requirements and liabilities, and led a discussion on how these liabilities may impact asset value.

This online session formed part of a regular series of briefings and roundtables hosted by HSBC aimed at educating institutional investors that are already participating in the oil and gas industry, or that are exploring potential opportunities as the global energy industry transitions to more sustainable sources.
