Joint BCCT and AMCHAM Boardroom Briefing on Corruption and Bribery on July 26

British Chamber of Commerce Thailand and American Chamber of Commerce Thailand

Michael Ramirez, a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, will speak at a joint BCCT and AMCHAM Boardroom Briefing on “Corruption/Bribery” in Thailand. Michael regularly advises international clients on compliance with local and foreign anti-corruption laws, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Michael will be joined by one other speaker.

David Lyman, chairman and chief values officer at Tilleke & Gibbins, was quoted in The Nation newspaper for his comments regarding a recent ruling made by the Thai Constitutional Court. The ruling, which determined the outcome of the government’s planned THB 2 trillion infrastructure projects borrowing bill, deemed the proposed off-budget funding for the projects as unconstitutional.
