John Frangos to Present at Asia Pacific Aviation Finance and Operating Leasing School

On October 31, 2018, John Frangos, a foreign consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, will speak at the upcoming Asia Pacific Aviation Finance and Operating Leasing School hosted by Airfinance Journal  in Hong Kong.

John’s presentation will give attendees a thorough overview of dispute resolution in aircraft leasing, covering crucial topics such as documenting proceedings, the choice of governing law in leasing contracts, and repossession under the Cape Town Treaty. He will conclude with a recent case study from his own work, applying a practical example from the industry to illustrate the points raised.

This three-day training course will take place from October 29 – October 31, 2018, at the Conrad Hong Kong Hotel, and will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about structuring aircraft finance transactions, analyzing airline financials, and resolving disputes. In addition to John, the course boasts a faculty of over 25 other senior industry expert presenters, and is the longest running aviation finance industry training event in the Asia-Pacific region.
