John Frangos to Present on Anti-Corruption at ACI’s 36th International Conference on the FCPA

American Conference Institute

On December 6, 2019, John Frangos, partner and deputy director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, will share his insights on anti-corruption measures and compliance in Southeast Asia at the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 36th International Conference on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) in Washington, DC. This conference is the premier annual event for the global anti-corruption community, with updates from jurisdictions around the world. John will be joined on the Southeast Asia panel by Nathan Bush from DLA Piper in Singapore. Together they will give the regional regulatory and enforcement update—a comprehensive view of anti-corruption and compliance trends and practices in countries throughout the region, with John focusing on Thailand and Vietnam, as well as Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.

This appearance comes on the heels of John’s recent participation in a regional ACI conference on anti-corruption and compliance practices in APAC, held in Singapore, where he moderated a panel on compliance developments, concerns, and trends in Southeast Asia with two representatives from highly regulated industries in the private sector.

For more details on the ACI’s 36th International Conference on the FCPA, please visit the conference website. For answers on anti-corruption measures and compliance in jurisdictions throughout Southeast Asia, please contact John Frangos at [email protected].
