John Frangos to Present on Aircraft Repossession at Korean Aviation Investors’ Masterclass

John Frangos, a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, will be speaking on the topic of “Aircraft Repossession Case Study: Understand Jurisdictional Risks to Protect Your Investments” at the Korean Aviation Investors’ Masterclass, organized by Airfinance Journal in Seoul.

The event will feature presentations and panels on aircraft valuation, investment returns on different types of aircrafts, portfolio transactions, and legal issues and trends in the aviation industry. John’s presentation will introduce common disputes in aircraft financing and leasing, using case studies to illustrate dispute resolution procedures, and enforcement and application of relevant international laws.

Participating in the Korean Aviation Investors’ Masterclass will be representatives from leading financial institutions, management consulting firms, and aviation leasing companies.

John will discuss how to successfully repossess an aircraft in Thailand, from initial communications with the operator, to working through the legal elements of the repossession process, to exporting the aircraft out of the Kingdom. He will also delve into a number of practical examples and case studies.
