John Frangos to Lead Webinar Session on Anti-Corruption in Thailand and Vietnam

On Friday, June 28, 2019, John Frangos, partner and deputy director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution group, will lead a webinar session on the latest updates regarding anti-corruption compliance and investigations in Thailand and Vietnam in collaboration with EY.

The webinar is titled “Strengthening corporate compliance: An ASEAN perspective” and will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Indochina Time (3:30–4:30 p.m. Singapore Time). Organized by EY Forensic & Integrity Services, the webcast will provide information on fraud and corruption trends—and efforts to combat them—in ASEAN.

John Frangos’ presentation will analyze the latest developments in Thailand and Vietnam, including a detailed look at the local and regional implications of recent U.S. Department of Justice guidelines on evaluating corporate compliance programs. This will be preceded by an overview of changes to anti-corruption compliance measures and regulations in emerging markets, delivered by a partner from EY. Finally the webcast will be opened up for a Q&A session addressing attendees’ own questions on anti-corruption compliance and related initiatives.

This hour-long webinar is an excellent chance for corporate compliance officers, staff, and other professionals to gain a sound understanding of the direction of efforts to stamp out fraud and corruption in business activities in ASEAN.
