Broadband Asia 2013 will bring together decision makers and buyers from the fixed, wireless, and mobile broadband industry from across the Asia- Pacific region and beyond to discuss the pressing issues facing the industry. During the conference, Jeffrey J. Blatt, of counsel at Tilleke & Gibbins, will deliver a presentation on the legal and regulatory issues surrounding cloud computing. The session will examine:
- Service offerings by telecoms companies for cloud services and terms of service/issues with customers, including performance issues, warranties, and business continuity issues.
- Legal issues arising in the provision of cloud services for customers, including data privacy, lawful interception/access by governments, and encryption considerations.
