Jeffrey Blatt Participates in Future Value of Data Event

Jeffrey J. Blatt, of counsel in the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) team at Tilleke & Gibbins, was included among a select group of participants from Thailand who were invited to offer their insights in the Future Value of Data: A Global Exploration of Emerging Changes event.

Jeffrey, who has been recognized as a leading TMT practitioner by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific  since 2011 and Chambers Asia- Pacific  since 2013, shared his thoughts on current views and key gaps in the value of data, potential new opportunities for change, and regional and global implications of change.

Twenty Future Value of Data events are being held around the world in 2018 by the Future Agenda, a nonprofit program that seeks to build an informed view of the future through inputs from academic, business, government, and legal experts. The Future Value of Data event in Thailand took place at The Peak Room of Gaysorn Urban Resort in Bangkok on May 23. On September 10, 2020, three Tilleke & Gibbins lawyers will speak at In-House Community eCongress Vietnam, a conference exclusively targeting in-house counsel, company directors, and compliance professionals of companies doing business in Vietnam. This year’s event, which will be held entirely online in separate sessions on September 8 and September 10, is the latest installation of the popular In-House Congress series organized by In-House Community, a unit of Pacific Business Press.

In a research project to celebrate Pride Month 2020, World Trademark Review  (WTR) recently set out to explore the landscape of diversity and inclusion initiatives in law firms across Asia, culminating in an article in the magazine’s July edition.
