James Evans to Participate in Roundtable on IP Protection in Southeast Asia at BACC

Tilleke & Gibbins is serving as a cosponsor of Pharmacide Arts & Counterfeit Goods, an art exhibition organized by the French Embassy in Thailand and the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP). Running from April 2 to May 26, 2013, at the Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC), the exhibition is intended to educate the public about the dangers of fake medicine through a series of works of art. Contributing to the public educational campaign, the event organizers are hosting a roundtable discussion on “Intellectual Property Protection within Southeast Asia” at the BACC on April 10 at 4 p.m. Among the participants, James Evans of Tilleke & Gibbins will discuss the legal aspects of counterfeit products and the risks they pose to consumers.
