IFLR 1000 Financial and Corporate 2016: Piyanuj (Lui) Ratprasatporn and Michael K. Lee Recognized as Leading Lawyers

The IFLR 1000 2016  rankings of the world’s leading financial and corporate lawyers have been released. Placing our practitioners at the pinnacle of the legal market, the rankings recognize two Tilleke & Gibbins members as “Leading Lawyers” in their fields. The following lawyers were recognized as Leading Lawyers:

  • Piyanuj (Lui) Ratprasatporn, partner and director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial department in Thailand
  • Michael K. Lee, partner and head of Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial department in Vietnam

Transactional highlights, peer feedback, and client feedback were considered to determine which lawyers would be recognized as Leading Lawyers.

In addition, Tilleke & Gibbins was recognized as a leading firm in Thailand in categories including “Capital Markets,” “Banking and Finance,” and “Mergers and Acquisitions.” In Vietnam, the firm received top rankings in “Banking and Finance” and “Mergers and Acquisitions.” Tilleke & Gibbins also received rankings in the “Financial and Corporate” category in both Laos and Myanmar.

The firm has been nominated for the award six times since 2010, and was honored to win the Thailand Law Firm of the Year Award 2014. This year’s winner will be announced at Chambers Asia-Pacific’s annual ceremony and dinner, which will be held at The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore on March 24, 2017.
