To qualify for this prestigious honor, individuals must rank in the gold tier of the IAM Patent 1000, a highly respected annual directory that identifies the top law and attorney firms and individuals in the world’s most significant patent jurisdictions. The selection process involves a comprehensive four-month research process carried out by a full-time research team that gathers hundreds of written submissions from firms, conducts face-to-face and telephone interviews, and corresponds with patent lawyers, attorneys, and their clients. Inclusion on the list is a strong endorsement of the exceptional skills and dedication these lawyers have shown for their client in the field of patents.
