FT Innovative Lawyers APAC 2023: Tilleke Earns Nomination for Cybersecurity & Data Governance

Tilleke & Gibbins has been shortlisted by the Financial Times (FT) for the “Most Innovative Lawyers in Cybersecurity & Data Governance” award in the 2023 edition of FT Innovative Lawyers APAC.

FT Innovative Lawyers APAC is an annual awards ceremony that celebrates law firms and in-house teams that have employed innovative approaches to deliver exceptional value to business and society. Tilleke’s nomination specifically recognizes the novel services provided by the firm via Tilleke & Gibbins Digital Solutions—a newly launched offering that allows the firm to act as the local data privacy representative in Thailand for Meta Platforms, Inc. and LINE Corporation.

This is the first year in which Tilleke has received a nomination at the annual FT Innovative Lawyers APAC awards, and it is an important recognition of the firm’s ability to address the legal needs of its clients with innovative, technology-focused solutions.

The 2021 edition of Chambers Asia-Pacific has been released, with Tilleke & Gibbins earning high honors across all of the firm’s jurisdictions in Southeast Asia. For Thailand, the firm earned rankings in all of the practice areas ranked in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2021, including Band 1 rankings—the publication’s highest recognition for practice areas—for its intellectual property and employment practices. The firm also maintained strong rankings in General Business Law in Laos and Myanmar. Each ranking in the guide is accompanied by an analysis, originating from Chambers and Partners’ direct interviews with clients, highlighting specific areas of strength for each respective practice.
