Counterfeiting is a severe danger to brands in emerging markets, damaging not only revenues but also the brand promise that underpins the profitability of most global firms. Counterfeiters have extended their reach to virtually every kind of product, from pharmaceuticals and IT products to music, software, and fast-moving consumer goods. While some companies have been aggressive in battling counterfeits, progress has been uneven, sporadic, and easily reversible.

The Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods will be featured on Check-In travel show, a TV program on Channel 8 Free TV, produced by Sonix Youth. This program covers local tourist highlights, including dining, shopping, and other venues of interest. Wiramrudee (Pink) Mokkhavesa, Attorney-at-Law in the Tilleke & Gibbins IP Group, will appear on the show, which will include an interview on IP issues and a tour of the museum.

Click Pai Tiew Pai, a TV program produced by the Travel Channel Thailand, will feature the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods in its upcoming weekly show. The program highlights various attractions and places to visit around the region. The host of the show, Vorarit Fuengarom, interviewed IP attorney Inthupim Chokwaranun during a visit to the museum for a discussion about IP issues in Thailand.
