David Mol Featured in INTA’s Young Practitioner Spotlight

David Mol, an advisor in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Phnom Penh office, was the subject of the Young Practitioner Spotlight in the March edition of the INTA Bulletin, published by the International Trademark Association (INTA).

The article traces David’s path into legal work, and to Tilleke & Gibbins’ Cambodia office, quoting David on various topics, including his trademark practice, his advice for other up-and-coming trademark lawyers, and his thoughts on the value of INTA. The article also goes into the collaboration between Tilleke & Gibbins and INTA on initiatives such as the Unreal campaign, which aims to spread awareness of intellectual property rights and the problems caused by the trade in counterfeit products.

The INTA Bulletin  is the association’s biweekly newsletter reporting on association activities, current issues in trademark law, and brand management and enforcement. The article discusses Indonesia passing a new trademark law on October 27 to simplify the application process and to allow for greater trademark protection. The new law came into effect on November 26.
